Overview

The Brocken Spectre is a streamlined daypack, designed for taking to the hills. Minimalist in style, but big on the features that matter. The 17 litre main compartment is the perfect size for mountain essentials like spare layers, a map, lunch and a camera or binoculars. Throw in some external storage for quick access to a water bottle or snacks. Then add in the details that make all the difference; a hydration sleeve, trekking pole attachments and you are good to go. The Brocken Spectre has been manufactured with robust – but light – waterproof fabric; designed to withstand a lifetime of adventures.

Fabric Details

ECOPAK™ is the world’s only durable and waterproof fabric made from 100% recycled polyester fiber and film.  Each yard upcycles about 20 plastic water bottles into durable technical textiles.

Based on 35 years of weaving, coating and laminating experience, ECOPAK™ fabric lasts longer, absorbs 80% less moisture, and has better UV resistance and colour retention than traditional laminated nylon. Just like our sailcloth that has been tested around the world, ECOPAK™ performs in the harshest conditions.

UltraStretch™ is a 4-way stretch mesh woven with the highest quality fibres for performance longevity.

RBC™: Recycled Bag Cloth.  RBC™ is single-ply woven recycled polyester with environmentally friendly C0 DWR on the outside, and a water-resistant PU coating on the inside. Each yard recycles about 10 plastic bottles and saves about one pound of carbon emissions, compared to standard nylon or polyester bag fabric.
